When completed, it will accommodate almost 105,000 spectators, up from the previous 99,000. Officials confirmed finished work included a new players’ tunnel along with upgraded changing facilities. Stadium Testing Barça organized an open training session on the home pitch on 7 November. The club said they are seeking authorization from European football’s governing body to host the next European match versus the German side next month at the stadium. They have been hosting matches at Estadio Olímpic Lluís Companys.
