Claims Posted on Instagram Dacoda Nichole Jones, who also did not mention the athlete by name, shared a set of images on social media that appeared to show signs of physical abuse. Jones did say the individual in question was the parent of her kids, and it is known she has kids with the football player, whom the team selected in the second round. Police Reports Reportedly Unavailable No official complaints were available in Overland Park, Kansas where the alleged abuse is said to have occurred. Player's Recent Off-Field Troubles Rice was absent for the initial part of this season due to an league-mandated ban for his involvement in instigating a multi-vehicle accident on a Texas roadway that resulted in multiple people hurt. Rice was sentenced 30 days in jail and probationary supervision after pleading guilty to serious offenses. Statistically, he finished the season with 53 receptions for 571 yards and five TDs as the Chiefs finished with a losing record and failed to qualify for the postseason for the first time in a decade.
